The Pillars of Health Presentation:
This 60 minute presentation offers an introductory overview of the six pillars of health and covers ways to engage on each pillar while offering suggestions on how employees can begin to engage and take charge of their health.

A Taste of Food as Medicine: Workshop
In this 60 minute workshop we’ll discuss healing foods for optimal health and debunk myths of various fad diets and food trends. We get our taste buds involved in this hands-off workshop as we taste simple seasonal ingredients and discuss their healing properties that will help us achieve optimal wellness.
Me and My Health Series
The Me and My Health is a three part series that takes a more in-depth look at what health is and how food affects us, including how non-food activities play a role. The goal of this series is more than basic knowledge, it’s to help you and your team engage in healthier changes without a total life disruption. This program offers time for on site participation and encourages team camaraderie between sessions.
Three 1 (one) hour long presentations:
• General Health: The first session begins with a light understanding of how food plays a role in our
health. We cover the basics of good nutrition and why diets don’t work and then discuss the top 6 ways to nourish our bodies and how to work these tasks into our daily lives. This session wraps up with tips and healthy recipes handout.
• Food Is Medicine: This is a hard hitting session where we delve into how inflammation, disease and
pain are brought on by the food we eat. We then discuss the concept of Food as Medicine and explore how to fight disease and other issues using food. This session also tiptoes into super-foods and how they play into our diet
• Primary Foods: Our health and well being go beyond food and exercise and after two sessions
together, it’s time to get a little personal by taking it to the next step with Primary Foods. We touch everything that is non-food related in this session, from stress to relationships to self care

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) connects city dwellers to high quality, fresh produce grown locally by regional farmers. For some it is an exciting way to gain access to produce they wouldn’t typically purchase; for others it can be a scary to know what to do with foreign vegetables.
What if you brought in an expert to help talk through the surprise baskets, offer nutritional knowledge for the produce items and to demonstrate a simple recipe that anyone can create? Eating more veggies is a giant first step on the path to healthier.
